Islamabad High Court reserves judgement on jail trial of Pakistan's former PM Imran Khan

The Islamabad High Court has reserved judgment on an intra-court appeal by former Pakistani premier Imran Khan against his jail trial in the cipher case. Khan has been kept in Adiala Jail since September 26 and is accused of violating secret laws while handling a communication from Pakistan's embassy in Washington. The trial has already begun with witness statements, but the court had stayed the trial pending the outcome of the appeal. The judgment is expected to be announced on Tuesday.
