Overnight Russian attacks kill at least two civilians: Kyiv

Russia's recent barrage of drones and missiles in Ukraine resulted in the deaths of two civilians. The attacks targeted a hospital, a building at a mine, and other civilian infrastructure. Ukraine has been expecting an increase in Russian attacks on critical infrastructure, especially energy facilities, due to the onset of sub-zero temperatures. The Ukrainian air force managed to destroy nine out of ten drones and a cruise missile launched by Russia. Last winter, Russian strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure caused power outages, leaving many without electricity and heating.
