Rights organisations sue Netherlands over F-35 parts to Israel

Human rights organisations take Dutch government to court over supply of F-35 fighter parts, arguing it contributes to violations of international law in Gaza. The case focuses on US-owned F-35 parts stored in the Netherlands and exported to partners, including Israel. Oxfam Novib states the export makes the Netherlands complicit in violations of the laws of war and collective punishment of Gaza civilians. The Dutch government claims it is uncertain if it can intervene in the deliveries. A verdict is expected in two weeks.
