Floods, landslides kill at least 20 people in southern Philippines

At least 20 people have died in the southern Philippines due to days of torrential rains, causing deadly floods and landslides. The provinces of Davao de Oro and Davao del Norte were particularly affected, with 13 and 7 casualties, respectively. A northeast monsoon and a low-pressure area brought continuous rains to the southern Mindanao region last week, impacting over 812,000 people.
