Merchant ship hit by small vessel in Red Sea, UKMTO says

A merchant ship encountered an incident in the Red Sea on Wednesday, according to United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO). The vessel was hit by a small craft. Two maritime sources, speaking anonymously, confirmed that the vessel sustained damage, suggesting a deliberate attack. The engine room was specifically targeted. The British security firm Ambrey reported that the incident occurred approximately 67.7 nautical miles southwest of Yemen's port of Hodeidah.
