Mastercard has launched its AI-powered Agent Pay in the UAE, marking its first international rollout outside the US. Developed in partnership with Majid Al Futtaim and fintech Dataiera, Agent Pay allows AI agents to search, discover, and complete transactions on behalf of users, enabling seamless, secure, and autonomous payments—ushering a new era of agentic commerce in the UAE’s digital economy.
