Turkey eyes multiple nuclear deals, in talks with South Korea, Canada, China, Russia

Turkey is in discussions with South Korea, Canada, China, and Russia for new nuclear power capacity, planning to build four reactors in Sinop and four in the Thrace region. This expansion aims to reduce energy import dependence and boost domestic capacity through localization. Final decisions will be based on competitive terms and localization contributions.
